What is the difference between rotational molding and blow molding

Firstly, both rotational molding and blow molding processes can produce hollow products, but blow molded hollow products or tube parities are blown into tube film without mold by using gas pressure to blow the hot parities closed in the mold, which is used more in the manufacture of some packaging containers or tube films. Polyethylene is generally used as the hollow blow molding material.

Rotational molding (rotary molding) is a method similar to rotary casting plastic, except that the material they use is not liquid but sintered dry powder. The production process is also very simple. Put the dry powder into the mold, and then let it rotate around two mutually perpendicular axes. After being heated, it will be uniformly melted on the inner wall of the mold as a whole. After cooling, hollow products can be taken out. In addition to polyethylene, it uses polyamide and cellulose plastics.

During the production of blow molding, there will be a head left by pulling the blow pipe, while if the rotational molding is not cut, there will be a lot of burrs left.
